I'm probably the worst at this

Well...

The other time that I wrote on this was in October of 2007; there has been many changes since that entry. To update the world, we focused our ministry last year on UADE and saw God do some amazing things. We have seen a few students put their trust in Christ, and several others get involved with the movement. Over the summer break (mid-Dec thru mid-March), we went to a summer camp (similar to Crusade's Encounter), the Mapuche project, and had some cool students come down on a vision trip to scope out the country and help with ministry.

Personally speaking, STINT has been incredibly fulfilling. It has caused me to rely on God and put my cares and concern on our Lord like never before. My weaknesses have been made clear to me, but I have learned that my weaknesses bring about God's perfection. There have been times when I have wondered what I was doing here, but even still I know that this is where our King wants me to be. My job is to be available for God to change lives. Period. Knowing what I know now, and experiencing what I have up until now, I have no regrets about coming to Argentina. God is at work.

The latest development has been that we won't be students at UADE this coming semester. The UADE administration met with our national director and informed him that we wouldn't be taking a spanish course on campus, and therefore we wouldn't be allowed onto the campus to do ministry. This may appear disappointing, and in a way it is, but in another way it is pretty exciting. With this change, we are expecting our King to do some incredible things that only he can do. We still want to build the movement that has begun on UADE, but now our strategy of reaching this campus, and our mission is going to change. We'll meet tomorrow with the Argentine leadership to discuss how our ministry scope is going to change and what our new path forward will be. If you think of us, pray for our course of steps to be following the path God has chosen for us to take.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8
